Covid-19 update and booking requirements

As I’m sure you are all aware, Covid-19 cases appear to be on the rise again. As a close contact service working from a (very) small room with a number of elderly and vulnerable clients, I took the decision to keep all Covid-19 precautions in place when they were eased in July to keep everyone as safe and protected as possible. I understand that Covid-19 is a contentious subject for some and we all have different views, but I respectfully ask that people continue to observe the following conditions:

  • Masks are to be worn during treatment unless you are told otherwise, so please bring one with you.
  • Obviously masks are not an option if you have the acupressure and face lift massage so for this reason I am only booking in these sessions as the last appointment at the end of the day so no other clients are in the room afterwards.
  • Covid-19 screening forms should be completed 48-24 hours before your session. If you arrive at your booking without the screening completed, you will be asked to complete it in your appointment time. If you are unable to agree and sign it when you arrive your appointment will be cancelled and you will be charged the full fee.
  • Please leave 7 days before booking between any Covid-19 vaccinations, including boosters. Although this is not an official requirement, side effects are most commonly experienced within this timeframe so it makes sense to hold off getting massaged until after this period.
  • If you have any Covid-19 symptoms cancel your booking and wait at least 14 days from the day your symptoms started to rebook.
  • If you have been in contact with someone who has had a positive test, you will be required to do a lateral flow test *if you do not have symptoms*, or a PCR test *if you have symptoms* which obviously need to be negative before I can book you in for a session.
  • I have allowed cash payments but please pay by bank transfer if you can to reduce contamination.

Sorry if that all sounds terribly boring and serious, but lets all try and stay safe and well!
